兰和班台柱，女伶花想容到龙门镇演出，受到当地恶棍麻大胆的觊觎和刁难，致使其夫九龄童累死在戏台之上。麻大胆和袍哥大爷骆善人见色起意，各怀鬼胎。九龄童的师兄川剧怪杰易胆大率领全班艺人，利用麻、骆矛盾闹茶馆，设计舍身崖，吓死麻大胆，终为师弟复仇。岂料，骆善人之祸，更胜于麻大胆之恶，为了解救整个戏班，花想容被迫自杀。

Chuanju Opera “Yidanda”, performed by Chuanju Opera Troupe of Sichuan Province Hua Xiangrong, the first heroine of Lanheban Troupe, went to perform in Longmen Town. Local ruffian Madadan coveted her and created difficulties which led to her husband Jiulingtong’s death on the stage. Both Madadan and Luoshanren thought out bad plans to get her. Jiulingtong’s brother Yidandan, a great Chuanju Opera performer, led the troupe, took advantage of conflicts between Madanda and Luoshanren, and frightened Madanda to death at Sheshenya Cliff to revenge his dead brother. However, Luoshanren created more difficulties. Hua Xiangrong could do nothing else but to commit suicide in order to save the troupe.
