溥仪，中国最后一位皇帝，三岁时登上皇帝宝座，1967年“文革”期间离开人世。作为一个孩子，他是在玩“当皇帝”的游戏中长大的。后来他发现这不是游戏，是真正的皇帝。虽然是皇帝，他却不过是一场复杂的戏剧中的男主角而已。在这场闹剧中，他只是权力的象征，是一个根本不能真正行使权力的偶像。

Fuyi is the last emperor in China’s history. He came to the throne at three years old and died in 1967 when the Cultural Revolution happens. As a kid he grows up in the game of being an emperor and later he finds that it is not a game but a fact. However he realizes that he is nobody but a protagonist in a farce, in which he is only a puppet with the symbol of power but can never exercise it.
