1947年冬，我华东部队于七战七捷采取战略性后退，引起部分战士和群众的不解。正在此时，敌军以三面包围之势向我军决战。解放军高营长在当地老百姓的帮助下，阻击敌人六个昼夜，并将前来增援的敌军部队一网打尽。

In the winter of 1947, the PLA army in east China makes a strategic retreat after a series of victories and many puzzlements occurs in the soldiers. And Just then the KMT enemy encircles the PLA army from three directions wishing to have a decisive battle. With the help of the local civilians a battalion successfully blocks enemy’s reinforcement for six days and nights on end and finally destroy all the enemy.
