滦河，古称濡水，为华北第二大河，发源于河北省丰宁县西北小梁山大古道沟。流经河北、内蒙古、辽宁三省３２个市、县。全长８８８公里，有大小支流５００多条，流域面积四万五千平方公里，于乐亭注入渤海。

《滦河故事》运用史诗般的风格和深沉博大的抒情手法，讲述滦河流域上下五千年的历史、文化、政治、经济、民俗，是一道特殊的文化大餐。

Luan He River, as the No. 2 river in north China, used to be called Ru Shui in old times. It originates from the valley among XiaoLiang hills in the northwest of FengNing county in Hebei province, stretches over 888 kilometers covering 32 cities and counties of Hebei, Inner Mongolia, Liaoning provinces, has over 500 tributaries and a drainage area of 45 thousand square kilometers before joining the Bohai Sea in Leting.

Reminiscence of Luan He River epically and profoundly proves to be a special cultural feast as it relates the history, culture, politics, economy and ethos along its drainage area in a span of 5000 years.
