Da Hong Quan (Large-frame Red Boxing) is developed from the basic of Xiao Hong Quan (Small-frame Red Boxing). Its posture is a little bigger than Xiao Hong Quan. Its foot forms are more than the Xiao Hong Quan. Its techniques are more complete than the Xiao Hong Quan. So it is called Da Hong Quan. In the latter period of Qing Dynastic, the Buddhist monk that practiced Wushu in Shaolin Temple traveled throughout the country and passed Da Hong Quan to the folk. |
